Generate a key pair in your browser. Only the public key is sent to the server (encrypt-only). Your private key stays encrypted in this browser with your passphrase. The server cannot decrypt data.

Back up the exported private key after setup if you need to unlock from another device.

Decrypt locally with your private key, then restore data to the server. The server never receives your private key or passphrase.

Locking uses the server’s public key only — no passphrase needed. Plaintext data/ files are removed from disk. Unlock requires your private key (passphrase in this browser or imported PEM).
